I started with analog photography a long time ago, and art pulled at me from the beginning. In Poland I first studied biology, then medicine, before I left both behind to move to Berlin and follow something more creative. The analytical thinking from those years never really left, it still shows up in how I approach a project today.

What draws me to photographing people is how they choose to be seen, their artistic expression, the space between how someone imagines themselves and how they actually are. I can shoot almost anything at this point, and I'm always looking for new territory to explore.

I like creative challenges, and I like working directly with clients. Talking someone through an idea and figuring out what they actually need is a part of the job I enjoy rather than avoid. Berlin is where it all comes together now. The city stopped being a backdrop a while ago, it's part of how I think and work, and I feel just as much a Berliner as I do a European.
